Project Background Brief:
PPG Projects recently completed a challenging project focusing on the installation of around 15,000 LED fittings into a client-provided racking system. This comprehensive endeavour covered six growth chambers, requiring meticulous planning and execution. The scope also included the supply and installation of all cabling, spanning from the control panel to junction boxes, prefabricated cables, distribution blocks, and extending to all light fittings, as well as the provision of control panels for lighting level control in multiple zones.
Particular Challenges:
The project was set against the backdrop of a distinct and advanced growing system. The intricacies of the clients requirements demanded a tailored approach to the design and implementation of the lighting infrastructure. Our team showcased adaptability and expertise in addressing the challenges presented by this unique agricultural environment.
Time sensitivity also played a crucial role in this project. The client emphasized the importance of meeting strict timelines, adding an extra layer of complexity to the execution.
